At Lakeland Presbyterian, we love seeing children come to know and treasure Jesus.
We believe the gospel is at the heart of everything we do, and we count it a joy to partner with parents as they disciple their children in the Lord. As a covenant church family, we believe raising children in the faith is a joyful calling we share. Parents are the primary disciplers of their children, and the church family comes alongside them with prayer, encouragement, friendship, and the truth of God's Word. Our desire is to help children delight in Jesus, grow in God's Word, build meaningful relationships within the church, and become lifelong disciples of Christ. We want every family to feel known, loved, and connected to the life of our church as we worship, learn, serve, and grow together—for the glory of God.
Our activities include:
Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. for all ages.
"Little Worship" during Sunday Morning Worship Service. Children ages 3 years thru 1st grade are invited. The children are dismissed together from the worship service following the children’s sermon. Parents pick them up immediately following the service in the Family Life Center.

Glorify God by training children to glorify and enjoy Him forever. LPC uses "First Catechism; Teaching Children Biblical Truths," published by Great Commission Publications. Structured on the Catechism for Young Children adapted from the Westminster Shorter Catechism, the Q&A format is easy for even the youngest children to engage with. This booklet of questions and answers is a highly-recommended family worship and Sunday School resource.
