When God called the Israelites out of Egypt to go into the Promised Land, many were surprised that the journey was hard. But all the difficulties they faced were designed to prepare them for receiving what had been promised. When life gets hard for us, perhaps we should try to see how God is preparing us for the next stage of our journey.
