MIDWEEK MEAL AND SERVICE – Wednesday, April 24th, at 5:15 pm. Menu: Supper Surprise, Sides, Roll, Salad Bar, & Dessert. Option 2: Chicken Tenders & Fries. *Sign-Up Link: Wednesday Meal Sign-Up

VBS VOLUNTEER MEETING – Wednesday, April 24th, at 7:00 pm. If you would like to volunteer at LPC’s 2024 VBS, email Tammy Davis (tdavis@lakelandpres.org) or fill out the insert in your Sunday bulletin. (Inserts can also be found in the sanctuary and education building foyers).

VBS 2024 DONATIONS – Items needed: Adult sized T-shirts, Bags of Pretzel Sticks, Large Boxes of Goldfish Crackers, Bags of Plain M&M’s, Ready-to-eat Fruits & Vegetables. Donations can be dropped off in Education Building Foyer.

WOMEN’S WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY – Thursday, April 25th, from 9:30-11:00 am, at Panera Bread in Flowood.

RUMMAGE SALE – April 27th at High’s Heaters and Grills (105 Bluebird Lane, Brandon MS, 39042).We need your donations for a church-wide rummage sale benefiting LPC’S short-term mission trip to Longview Ranch. Needed: donations of gently used clothing, shoes, toys, games, outdoor items, home décor, sporting equipment, small furniture, etc. Donation site will be available at LPC. Please contact John Revell (revjrev@gmail.com) or David Collipp if you have larger items that you wish to donate.

MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST – Saturday mornings at 7:30 in the LPC Sanctuary kitchen.

SUNDAY SCHOOL – Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.

GRADUATING SENIOR BANQUET – Sunday, April 28th, for all Youth and their families. We will gather immediately after the 10:45 am church service in the Education Building Gym. Meat, bread, drinks, and desserts provided. *Everyone needs to bring salad, starch, or vegetables.*

CHOIR – Sunday April 28th, at 4:00 pm.

LIFEWALK – We have the opportunity to support the Center for Pregnancy Choices of the Jackson Metro area by participating and fundraising for the 2024 Life Walk. Please join us in helping raise money for this organization. Using the link below, you can register as a walker. There will be a place to select Lakeland Presbyterian Church when you register. If you are unable to walk on Saturday, May 4th, you can still help by fundraising. WMT LADIES PICNIC – Sunday, May 5th, immediately following the 10:45am Worship Service. We will be discussing upcoming dates for the year as it pertains to women’s events and opportunities. SIT N’ SEW – Saturday, May 18th, from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm. We will sew headbands, pillowcases, drawstring bags, sock dolls and children’s dresses for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. No experience required. Machines provided or you can bring your own. Lunch will be provided. It’ll be ‘sew’ much fun! Donations of cotton fabric (1/2-1 yard = 1 dress), matching 1/2″ wide ribbon, and matching double fold bias tape will be welcomed.
