MID-WEEK MEAL & SERVICE – Wednesday, October 4th, at 5:15 pm. Menu: Cajun Turkey Wings or Baked Chicken, Collard Greens, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Candied Yams, Cornbread Muffins, Salad Bar, Cheesecake (Kids: Sloppy Joe & Fries). Sign-Up HERE or call the church office.

KIDS CHOIR – Wednesday, October 4th. Preschool Choir is 3K-5K and Children’s Choir is 1st-6th grades. Choir begins at 6:15 pm and Handbell practice is at 7:00 pm.

LPC WOMEN’S WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY – Thursday, October 5th from 9:30-11:00 am.

MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST – Saturday mornings at 7:30 in the LPC Sanctuary kitchen.

SUNDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP – Sunday, October 8th, at 5:00 pm with J.C. Duke.

POINSETTIA ORDER – Order your red poinsettias in 6.5″ inch pots, wrapped in green foil. They will be delivered to the church in time to provide Christmas color to the sanctuary. You may designate your flower either in memory of or in honor of someone dear to you and your family. Plants are $11 each. Please attach cash or a check to the red form and drop off in the church office no later than October 6th.

SIT N’ SEW – Saturday, October 14th, from 8:30 am– 2:00 pm, as we sew headbands, pillowcases, drawstring bags, sock dolls and children’s dresses for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. No experience required. Machines provided or you can bring your own. Lunch will be provided. It’ll be ‘sew’ much fun! Donations of: cute ankle socks, Large Rickrack – white, pink, blue, yellow, Extra wide double fold bias tape – miscellaneous colors such as white, pink, yellow, green, purple, blue, 1/2 or 5/8 inch ribbon – miscellaneous colors such as white, pink, yellow, green, purple, blue, and 3/4 or 3/8 inch elastic will be welcomed. RSVP to the church office.

REFORMATION CELEBRATION – Sunday, October 29th, from 4:00-6:00 pm., in the LPC parking lot. Costumes are encouraged (nothing scary). Bring your own chair. Hamburgers and hotdogs will be on the grill. We are taking candy donations and the drop off bucket will be in the LPC foyer. If you would like to host a game for Trunk or Treat, see Mrs. Tammy or Ashley.
