VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL - VBS runs this week from Monday - Thursday 9:00-11:30 AM. Join us Thursday evening for our VBS closing program and Fish Fry Dinner. The meal begins at 5:00 PM followed by our slideshow and musical presentation. Fish Fry tickets are $5 (VBS attendees eat free). RETIREMENT CELEBRATION FOR TAMMY DAVIS - You're invited Sunday, June 14th, immediately following worship as we celebrate Tammy Davis and her 25 years of faithful ministry to the children of Lakeland Presbyterian Church. The church will provide the meat and dessert, and we would love for everyone who is able to bri ga side dish to share as we gather to honor and thank Tammy for her years of dedicated service. AS a special way to honor Tammy, we invite you to bring a card. Cards may be dropped off in the church office and will be presented to her during the reception.

FLOWERS FOR SUNDAY WORSHIP - Flowers placed in the sanctuary each Sunday are a beautiful way to honor loved ones, celebrate special occasions, or give thanks to God. Members and friends of Lakeland are invited to provide the primary floral arrangement throughout the year, whether sweet and simple or full and extravagant. CHOIR SUMMER PICK-UP - There will be another opportunity for 'pick-up" choir this summer - Sunday, July 12th! Calling anyone, of any age, who loves to sing! If you have always wanted to try out singing in the choir - this is for you! No outside practice or music-reading ability needed! Simply come to the rehearsal that Sunday morning and then sing with us in the morning service! We will learn a short, simple introit together, and also sit in the loft for congregational singing until the sermon. All ages and abilities are welcome (kids under 5th grade must be accompanied by an adult and able to sit respectfully during the service). - Rehearsal: 8:45 AM (we will be done in time for Sunday school. Meet in the choir room at 10:35 AM (immediately after Sunday School).
