CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – Sunday, December 8th immediately after the morning Worship service for the purpose of electing officers. Our nominees include for the office of Ruling Elder: Hays Collins, Billy Davis, Jerry Grantham, Scott High, Jason Witcher; and for the office of Deacon: Andrew Hoeniges, Andrew Lee, and Gene Pierce. A letter with more information will be sent out to members.

NO MIDWEEK MEAL & SERVICE – We will resume in 2025.

YOUTH CHRISTMAS PARTY – Wednesday, Dec 4th. 5:00-7:30 pm, at the home of P. Collins. Please bring a gift around $15-$20 and a side or dessert to share.

WOMEN’S WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP – Thursday, December 5th, at 11:00am at Sue Bigger’s home for a time of fellowship. Please bring your favorite meat, vegetable, fruit, or dessert dish to share. Sue will provide a meat dish and drinks.

LADIES CHRISTMAS BRUNCH – Saturday, Dec 7th. 9:30-11 am at the home of Amelia Adcock. Please bring your favorite Christmas dish to share.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS & PARENTS NIGHT OUT – Saturday, December 7th, from 4:00-8:00 pm, at LPC.

MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST – Saturday mornings at 7:30 am in the LPC Sanctuary kitchen.

SUNDAY SCHOOL – Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.

CHOIR REHEARSAL – Sunday, December 8th, at 3:45 pm.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS CHOIR PROGRAM – Sunday, December 8th, at 6:00 pm. Cookie reception to follow. Please bring a plate of your favorite Christmas cookies to share.

YOUTH CHRISTMAS CAROLING – Wednesday, Dec. 11th, from 5:15-8:00 pm. Meet at LPC at 5:15 pm. When we finish caroling, we will go to the Sutton’s home for refreshments and pick-up.

ADULT CHRISTMAS CANTATA – Sunday, December 15th, at 6:00 pm. Reception to follow. Please bring finger foods, desserts, & Christmas goodies.

RECH PRISON MINISTRY – Wednesday, December 18th is the deadline to turn in items in the designated bins in the Education Building foyer.*Please make checks payable to RECH Foundation.

LESSONS & CAROLS OF CHRISTMAS – Sunday, December 22nd, at 6:00 pm. Make plans to join us for this special service as we celebrate the birth of our Savior together.

CHRISTMAS EVE COMMUNION – Tuesday, December 24th, at 5:00 pm. Invite your friends and family. *Please note time for Communion*

YOUTH FUN & GAMES AT THE REVELL’S – Sunday, December 29th, from 5:00-9:00 pm. Food, Fellowship, and a game of Fish Bowl! Wear your most Festive Christmas sweater!

YEAR END CONTRIBUTIONS – must be postmarked or received in the church office by December 31st. You may also use the church website (www.lakelandpres.org) to make a contribution with your credit card or PayPal/Venmo account before 11:30 pm on December 31st.

YOUTH LOCK-IN AT LPC – Friday, Jan. 3rd, from 8 pm – 7 am. Drop off at 8 pm at LPC. Pick up at 7 am Saturday. Eat dinner beforehand; snacks and breakfast provided! Please RSVP to John Revell by Sunday, December 15th.

YOUTH & FAMILY BONFIRE — Saturday, January 11th, from 4:00-7:00 pm. Fellowship, Dinner, and Bonfire at Sumrall Farms.

LONGVIEW MISSION – We’re going back to Longview Camp in Mosheim, TN to serve July 14th – 18th next summer. We’ll serve again in the areas of light construction and VBS. The cost per person is $350, and we’ll aim to fundraise with a 2-day rummage sale March 21-22. Please prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to join us.
