WEDNESDAY BIBLE STUDY – Wednesdays at 6:15 pm. Rev. John Revell is leading a series of lessons entitled, “How to Read the Bible: Seeing & Hearing Jesus in All the Scriptures.” Meets in the sanctuary.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT SMALL GROUPS – Wednesdays at 6:15 pm, meet with the leaders for small group study.

LPC WOMEN’S WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY – Thursday, October 31th, from 10:00-11:30. We will be studying “Saved: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Acts” by Nancy Guthrie.

MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST – Saturday mornings at 7:30 am in the LPC Sanctuary kitchen.

SUNDAY SCHOOL – Sundays at 9:30 am.

CHOIR REHEARSAL – Sunday, November 3rd, at 3:45 pm.

CHILDREN – Sunday, November 3rd, at LPC, from 5:00-7:00 pm.

YOUTH – Sunday, November 3rd, at the Hellrung’s home, from 5:00-7:00 pm.

BOOK FAIR – October 23rd – November 6th. Come shop with us at LPC’s 2024 Book Fair. Books will be on display in the foyer of the Education Building There will also be books for tweens, teens, parents, and grandparents.

SOUP, SANDWICHES AND SHOEBOXES – Sunday, November 10th at 5:00 pm. If you would like to pick up a pre-made shoebox, stop by the church office and grab one. Contact Mrs. Tammy or the church office if you would like to sign up to bring soup or sandwiches. Get ready for a fun time! (Remember no candy, no liquids, no toothpaste, no war toys)

THANKSGIVING FEAST – Wednesday, November 20th at 5:00 pm. We will have Turkey, Ham, Dressing, and all the Trimmings. $7 a plate or $20 max for families. Following the feast, we will gather in the sanctuary for a special service of Thanksgiving. *Please bring your favorite dessert to share!* RSVP to the church office or sign-up online. *Sign-Up Link: Thanksgiving Feast Meal

CHECK OUT THE TABLE IN THE CHURCH LIBRARY – The attendance at the fair this year was down, so there were fewer people dropping by the Good News booth. On the library table there are several leftover booklets and pamphlets. Please help yourselves to this interesting literature. It’s all FREE!

RECH PRISON MINISTRY – The Lakeland Women’s Ministry Team would like to help the RECH Foundation fill a toiletry package for prisoners and even some of their children this Christmas. RECH was formed by Pauline Rogers, a former convict who was mentored by Prison Chaplain Wendy Hatcher, a former LPC member, giving LPC a special bond with the group. *Please turn in items in the designated bin in the Education Building foyer by Wednesday, December 18th.
